CHAD ERIC WINEGARD
MUSCATINE, Iowa - Chad E. Winegard, 63, of Muscatine, passed away on Monday, December 28, 2020, at his home.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. There will be a livestream available to view at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 31st, 2020. Chad was born on December 11, 1957, in Muscatine, the son of Alfred and Lucille Johnson Winegard. He married Diane Kraklow on September 8, 1984, in Muscatine.

Chad worked at Kent Feeds Research Farms in the dairy department for 31 years. He was currently working at Replica. Chad attended Mulford Evangelical Free Church. He was involved with the Muscatine Soccer Club, Summer Classic, and College Showcase for many years.

Chad loved traveling and going to the movies with his wife, hunting, and trap shooting. He was always excited to go to Wyoming every year to hunt. Chad enjoyed gun auctions with friends, reading, and helping his son and daughter with many different projects. He was very proud of his children and grandchildren.

Those left to honor his memory include his wife, Diane of Muscatine; two children, Matt Winegard and his wife, Amanda, of Cedar Rapids, and Chelsea Freie and her husband, Drew, of Cedar Rapids; two grandchildren, Abram, Marah, and a baby to be born in May; one brother, Cort Winegard and his wife, Colleen, of Keota; two sisters, Janina Hawley and her husband, Chris, of Muscatine, and Stacey Simmons of Illinois City, Illinois; and many nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents and one brother-in-law, Byron Simmons.
