Helen Walsch MUSCATINE - Helen E. Walsch, 83, of Muscatine, died Wednesday, Nov. 24, 1999 at the Muscatine Care Center. Graveside services and burial will be held at 1 p.m., Saturday, Nov. 27 at the McHenry County Memorial Park Cemetery in Woodstock, Ill. Visitation will be at the Geo. Wittich-Lewis Funeral Home from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m., Fri., Nov. 26, 1999. Mrs. Walsch was born Feb. 10, 1916, in Muscatine, the daughter of Frank F. and Jessie Mae Mills Stalkfleet. He married Raymond Walsh in Woodstock, Ill., in 1956. She was a homemaker and very active in the Woodstock VFW. Survivors include five brothers; Harold Stalkfleet of Crowley Texas, Lee Stalkfleet of Muscatine, Frank Stalkfleet of Nichols, Cecil Stalkfleet of Nichols and Leroy Stalkfleet of Muscatine; and four sisters, Vera Jean Gerling of Columbus City, Donna Merchant of Muscatine, Gladys Rowe of Wapello and Mary Mize of Arkansas; one sister-in-law, Vera Niewerth, Bellevue. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; three brothers, Lloyd, Art and Donnie; and one sister, Dorothy.
