Celia Podaril COLUMBUS JUNCTION - Celia Podaril, 69, of Columbus Junction, died Thursday, Nov. 25, 1999, at her home. Services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Stacy-Lewis Funeral Home in Columbus Junction. Burial will be at the Columbus City Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 3-8 p.m. with family present from 5-8 Saturday at the funeral home. Mrs. Podaril was born on March 14, 1930, in Columbus City, the daughter of Thomas and Catherine Richards Peters. She married William Podaril Jan. 10, 1951, in Columbus Junction. She was a homemaker all her life. She was a member of the Cotter Presbyterian Church and the Cotter Guild. She loved riding her bicycle and participated in eight RAGBRAI trips. She was a faithful swimmer at the YMCA in Washington. Survivors include her husband, Bill, of Columbus Junction; two sons, Richard Podaril and Thomas Podaril and his wife, Debra; a daughter, Barbara Dotson and her husband, John, all of Columbus Junction; eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; a sister, Ruth Van Auken and her husband, Ronnie, of Winfield; a brother Clifford Arthur of Sun City, Calif. She was preceded in death by her parents; a grandson, Jon; and an infant brother, Donald.
