Catherine Wykert WAPELLO - Catherine E. Wykert, 86, of Oakville, died Friday, Nov. 26, 1999 at the Burlington Medical Center. Service will be held at 10 a.m., Monday at the Oakville United Methodist Church with Rev. Harlan Winter officiating. Interment will take place Tuesday at 10 a.m. at the Riverview Cemetery, Streator, Ill. Visitation will be held from 3-6 p.m., Sunday at the Dudgeon-McCulley Funeral Home in Wapello. A memorial has been established for the Oakville United Methodist Church. Mrs. Wykert was born Oct. 14, 1913, at Streator, Ill., the daughter of Arthur and Cora Mae (Reed) Wolford. She married Vergil Ray Freeze in July of 1932. He died July 12, 1962; she then married Ernest C. Wykert on Dec. 5, 1964. He died June 24, 1988. She was a farmwife and homemaker. She is survived by: three daughters; Betty Pilcher and Janet Williams, both of Oakville, and Judy Wilson of Burlington; nine grandchildren and seven great grandchildren; one sister, Alberta Brennan of Bloomington, Ill. She was preceded in death by her parents, husbands, one daughter Bonnie Stewart, three brothers and one sister.
