DeWayne Petsel PLAINFIELD, Ind. - DeWayne Petsel, 68, of Plainfield, Ind., formerly of Conesville, died Wednesday, Dec. 1, 1999, at the I. U. Medical Center in Indianapolis Ind. The body has been cremated. There will be a memorial service at a later date in Lone Tree. Mr. Petsel was born on Sept. 8, 1931, the son of Albert T. and Bessie Soukup Petsel. He married Beverly Doerres on Aug. 20, 1955. He served in the Navy during the Korean war. He worked as an air traffic controller for the FAA in Indianapolis, retiring in 1986. Survivors include his wife, Beverly; a son, David of Plainfield; two daughters, Sharon Van Hove of Muncie, Ind., Diane Knight and her husband, George of Columbus, Ohio; five grandchildren, Gail and Gwen Van Hove of Muncie and Ashley, Alex and Jordan Knight of Columbus; two brothers, Robert and Bert Petsel.
