Lily Wilson MUSCATINE - Lily Myrena Wilson, 79, of 2646 Stewart Road, died Tuesday, Nov. 30, 1999, at Unity Hospital. Services will be 1:30 p.m. Friday at the Island United Methodist Church, Stewart Road and 57th Street. Pastor Prince Swamickan of the Island United Methodist Church and Pastor Dan Schoepf of the Calvary Baptist Church will officiate. Pallbearers will be Jeff, Mike, and Kent Wilson, Brad and Greg Horrick and Rod Harrison. Burial will be at Island Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the Ralph J. Wittich-Riley-Freers Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to the Island United Methodist Church. Mrs. Wilson was born on Jan. 11, 1920, in Blackhawk Ontario, Canada, the daughter of James Bartley and Alberta Cracraft Harrison. She married Robert C. Wilson, Sr. on Feb. 2, 1938, in Kahoka Mo. She was a member of the Island United Methodist Church, the UMW and ICC at the church. She worked at W.T. Grant, Spiegel's, and the Sheltered Workshop and after her retirement she worked as a greeter at Wal-Mart. Survivors include two sons, Kevin D. Wilson and James B. Wilson and his wife, Linda, all of Muscatine; a daughter, Barbara Jean Horrick and her husband, Edward, of Willits, Calif.; a daughter-in-law, Lois Wilson of Muscatine; 12 grandchildren, Denise Arnold, DeWayne and Doug Dusenberry, Bobbie Jean Al-Timimi, Robbin, and Kent Wilson, Brad, Greg and Kim Horrick, and Jeff, Mike and Jamie Wilson; and 10 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Robert C. Wilson Sr. in 1990; a son, Robert C. Wilson Jr. in 1999; a granddaughter, Heather R. Wilson; one great-granddaughter; two sisters and six brothers.
