Jason Brett Morton

Jason Brett Morton, 61, of Coulter, Iowa, passed away Wednesday, December 30, 2020, at the Rehabilitation Center of Hampton. He was born on December 22, 1959, in Hampton, to Edward Jr. "Mort" and Emma Jeane (Campbell) Morton. Jason graduated from CAL Community School in Latimer.

Jason worked for Mort's in Latimer. He enjoyed fishing, golf cart rides and spending time with his family.

Jason is survived by his son Cody Morton of Iowa Falls, son John Morton and wife Ashley of Ackley, grandsons Landon and Brixson Morton of Ackley, brothers Kent (Chris) Morton of Latimer, Robert Morton of Boone, Reginald (Jane) Morton of Hampton, Tracy Morton (Norma Allen) of Coulter, sister Priscilla (Mark Ziemann) Eddy of Latimer, along with aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his parents EJ "Mort" and Jeane Morton, brother Lance Morton, brother Seth Morton, brother-in-law Joel Eddy and sister-in-law Jan Morton.

In lieu of flowers, memorials or cards of condolences may be sent to Jason's family and mailed to Sietsema Vogel Funeral Home, PO Box 403, Hampton, IA 50441.

Private family services will be held. The Sietsema Vogel Funeral Home of Hampton is assisting Jason's family.
