Lucille Wiederrecht WAPELLO - Lucille quot;Lucy quot; F. Wiederrecht, 72, of Sperry, died Saturday, Dec. 11, 1999, at the Integrated Health Services of Mediapolis. Services will be at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday at Dudgeon-McCulley Funeral Home in Wapello. The Rev. Harlan W. Winter will officiate. Burial will be at the Harrison Cemetery in Wapello. Pallbearers will be Terry Corman, Jeff Jack, Harlan Schafer, Harlan Hayes, Craig Murguia, and Jerry Jack. Bev Parsons will be the organist. Visitation will be from 6:30-8:30 p.m. today at the Dudgeon-McCulley Funeral Home. Mrs. Wiederrecht was born July 1, 1927 in Burlington, the daughter of Mark and Beatrice Dorothy Ruschill Mchmken. She married James V. Wiederrecht Jr. on Aug. 9, 1950, in Wapello. They lived in Glendora, Calif. for many years until 1972 when they moved to Sperry. They spent many winters in Sun City Ariz. She was a graduate of Sperry High School in 1945 and attended Citrus College in Azusa, Calif. She was a real estate broker for 8 years in Glendora. She was active in real estate in Burlington for many years having served as the executive director of the Burlington Board of Realtors for 10 years. She was the director of education of the Iowa Board of Realtors of Des Moines for 6 years. She was active for many years and in 1998 she served as the President of the Iowa Unit of the WBCII, an International Airstream Trailer Group. She enjoyed sewing and computers and was the treasurer of the Paradise Computer Club in Sun City, Ariz. She was a member of the United Methodist Church at Sperry. Survivors include her husband, James; her mother, Beatrice Dorothy Mchmken of the Klein Unit in Burlington; two daughters, Connie and Robert Britton of Mount Juliet, Tenn. and Carol and Eugene Troobnick of Seattle, Wash.; a son, Thomas P. and Linnea Wiederrecht of Colorado Springs, Colo.; three grandchildren, James Britton, Tom Wiederrecht and Kristin and Roger Cummings; two great-grandsons; and a brother, Warren Mehmken of Sperry. She was preceded in death by her father.
