Edith Estle LETTS - Edith Estle, 96, of Letts, died Friday, Dec. 10, 1999, at the San Bernardino Community Hospital in San Bernardino, Calif. Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday at the Letts Methodist Church in Letts. Burial will be at the Letts Cemetery in Letts Iowa. Visitation will be from 4-7 p.m. Thursday at the Stacy-Lewis Funeral Home. Mrs. Estle was born on May 23, 1903, in Muscatine, the daughter of August and Ella Murphy Lessman. She married Davis Reddick on June 2, 1926, in Muscatine. She later married Hall Estle on Oct. 4, 1926, in Nashua. He preceded her in death on Sept. 28, 1983. She had been a homemaker all her life. She was a member of the Letts Methodist Church, the United Methodist Women, the Order of the Eastern Star Chapter 370, a member and Past Matrons Club and a member of the White Shrine. She was a past Sunday school teacher. Survivors include a son Justin Blake and his wife, Marti, of Highland, Calif.; three grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, two husbands; a granddaughter, Kimberly Cook, and two brothers, Harold and Floyd Lessman.
