Merlyn Minor DAVENPORT - Merlyn quot;Burmy quot; Minor, 62, of Davenport, died Monday, Dec. 20, 1999, at the Genesis Medical Center West Campus in Davenport. Services will be at a later date. The body will be cremated. Memorials may be made to Juvenile Diabetes Association or Genesis West Oncology Unit. The Runge Mortuary and Crematory is in charge of arrangements. Mr. Minor was born on Feb. 20, 1937, in Muscatine. He married Caroline Hogg in Newbury, England. He retired from the U.S. Air Force in 1974 as a Master Sergeant after 20 years of service. Survivors include his wife, Caroline; a daughter, Sasha Minor of Denver, Colo.; sons Nicholas and Alexander Minor of Davenport; a sister, Lilla Simpson of North Carolina; brothers, Marvin Minor of California and Gary Minor of Des Moines; and several nieces and nephews.
