Jennie McCrady
August 10, 1934 - January 4, 2021

Jennie P. McCrady, 86, of Fort Dodge passed away Monday, January 4, 2021 at the Fort Dodge Villa Care Center.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 a.m. Friday, January 8, 2020 at Holy Trinity Church. Burial will follow at Corpus Christi Cemetery. A visitation will be 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. Thursday at Laufersweiler Funeral Home.
She is survived by her children, Theresa Oothoudt of Willmar, MN, Mark McCrady and his wife Christine, Matthew McCrady and his wife Mellissa both of Fort Dodge, 11 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, siblings, Irene (Howard) McCrady, Mary Lou (John) Tallman, and Larry (Paula) Ayala.
Jennie was preceded in death by her husband, Robert in 2011, parents, John and Isabella (Rivera) Ayala, son, Michael McCrady, siblings, Constance Ayala Loder, Jessie Ayala, Elizabeth M. Ayala Howell, and Bennie Ayala.
Jennie Patricia Ayala was born in Bricelyn, Minnesota on August 10, 1934. She was raised and educated in Clarion, Iowa. She was united in marriage to Bob McCrady on May 2, 1955 at Corpus Christi Church. The couple made Fort Dodge their home. Jennie worked at Globe Union until its closing. She then worked for Starlite Motel and Village for over 20 years. Jennie had a passion for cooking and a front door is "always open" policy. She was a compassionate and caring soul who always put others before herself.
Memorials may be left to the discretion of the family.
