Franklin Gault TIPTON, Iowa - Franklin Lewis Gault, 68, of Tipton, died Monday, Feb. 7, 2000, after a lingering illness. Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Tipton United Methodist Church. The Rev. DeLane Wright will officiate. Organist will be Sylvia Gould and vocalist will be Matt Wright. Burial will be at the Red Oak Cemetery in Tipton with Military grave side honors. Pallbearers will be Ronald Schroeder, Patrick McGovern, Roger Schroeder, Ricci Aquilani, Ryne Schroeder, Steve Allen, John Naber. Visitation will be from 4-7 p.m. today at the Fry Funeral Home in Tipton. Memorials may be made to the Iowa City Hospice and the First United Methodist Church in Tipton. Mr. Gault was born on Feb. 11, 1931, in Atlantic, the son of John Franklin Gault and Berdina Elizabeth Moore. He married Donna Jean Homer on June 15, 1956, in Sewal. He was a life insurance salesman since July 1958. He graduated from Exira High School and the University of Iowa. He was a member of the United Methodist Church in Tipton. He was a former member of Tipton Rotary, lifetime member of App-a-week club. He qualified for National Quality Award 31 times, National Sales Achievement Award for 25 years, 13 elite Presidents Cabinets, 13 national American Mutual conventions, and many regional conventions. Survivors include a wife, Donna J. Gault of Tipton; three daughters, Elizabeth Schroeder and her husband, Ronald, of Wilton, Barbara Aquilani and her husband, Ricci, of Clinton and Mary Gault of Tipton; two half sisters, Gano Smith of Coon Rapids and Melissa Jensen and her husband, Darrell, of Volga, S. D.; half brother, J.D. Gault of Reno, Nev.; grandchildren, Ashley and Ryan Schroeder, Ariana and Andrea Aquilani; a special cousin, Mary McGovern of Austin, Texas; uncle, Jim Moore; and several cousins, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, stepmother, grandparents, and a nephew, Greg Smith.
