Shawn Goodrick PREEMPTION, Ill. - Shawn L. Goodrick, 34, of Preemption, formerly of rural Muscatine, died at his home in Preemption, Ill. Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, at Cunnick-Collins Mortuary Chapel in Davenport. Burial will be at the Parr Cemetery in Rural Pleasant Prairie. There will be no visitation. Mr. Goodrick was born on July 28, 1965, the son of James and Cheryl Sanders Goodrick in Iowa City. He married Carol M. Buffington on July 20, 1991, in Buffalo. He was employed by Adrian Carriers as a truck driver. Survivors include his mother and stepfather, Cheryl and Norman Plog of Muscatine; his father, James Goodrick of California; his wife, Carol Goodrick; a daughter and a son, Samantha Goodrick and Christopher Goodrick, both at home; a sister, Crystal Ganzer of Davenport; a brother, Randy Goodrick of Las Vegas, Nev.; two step sisters, Sue Atkinson of Muscatine and Linda Kalinawski of Waukesha, Wis.; a stepbrother, Mike Plog of Davenport; a maternal grandmother, Flora Sanders of Wilton.
