"To Martin's Family, I want you to know that I appreciated knowing Martin. He was a good man who would do anything for anyone. He loved Jesus and was zealous for people to know about Him. I also appreciate his service to our country. He shared with me (and many others) about his time in Germany both during and after the war during WWII. I counted it both a privilege and an honor to get to hear his stories. I was sorry to hear of his passing the other day. Martin is now with the Lord and his mother along with others in Christ. This pandemic has made things awkward, but I am praying for the family. "
