Betty Jane Kraayenbrink
September 19, 1925 - January 10, 2021

Betty J. Kraayenbrink, age 95, of Rochester, Minnesota died Sunday, January 10, 2021 at the Stewartville Care Center in Stewartville, Minnesota.

Betty Jane Kraayenbrink (Christopherson) was born on September 19, 1925 in Rochester, Minnesota, the daughter of Albert and Laura (Larson) Christopherson. She graduated from Rochester High School in 1943 and moved to the Minneapolis Area to attend air traffic radio school. She later went on to work as a civilian for the Navy Department in Washington, DC. While back in Rochester on vacation she met her husband, William A. Kraayenbrink, Sr. and her fate was sealed. In 1948, after a few months apart, she flew back to Rochester to marry the love of her life and later retired after a 35-year career in the office of Libby, McNeil & Libby, later becoming Seneca Foods.

She is survived by her son, William Kraayenbrink, Jr., her daughter Karla (Kraayenbrink) Dexter, one granddaughter and one grandson-in-law Meriah (Dexter) & Keith Conn, two great grandchildren, Jacob and Olivia Conn and numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Betty was preceded in death by her beloved husband William Kraayenbrink, Sr., parents, Albert & Laura (Larson) Christopherson, two brothers Robert & Clayton Christopherson, two sisters Virginia Spiettel & Donna Frederick and her loving fur baby Brody.

There will not be a funeral service now but a memorial service and interment will be held in the spring with interment to follow at Grandview Memorial Gardens.

Betty was a lifetime member of Zumbro Lutheran Church, baptized in November of 1925, confirmed, married in September 1948 and sent to her heavenly home in January, 2021. Thanks be to God.
