In loving memory of

Barbara Jean Wilson
August 13, 1946 - January 11, 2021

Barbara Jean Wilson passed away unexpectedly at her home at the age of 74 on January 11, 2021. Barb was born in Antigo on August 13, 1946. She was a daughter of Stanley and Betty (Helbick) Anderson of Antigo. Barb married Bill Wilson of Argonne, WI on August 11, 1973, at St. Hyacinth Catholic Church in Antigo. Barb was a graduate of Antigo High School, Langlade County Teacher's College and finished her teaching degree at the University of Wisconsin Stevens Point in 1972. Barb then taught for 33 years at the White Lake School District. During that time, she was principal at the Wilson Elementary School in Townsend for 2 years.

After retirement Barb and Bill spent time traveling throughout the United States. In later years they spent part of the winter in Florida. In the springtime, Bill, Barb, and Bear spent their time tapping trees, gathering sap, and making maple syrup. Summers were spent maintaining their home, cottage at Three Lakes, and cabin at Argonne. They also maintained a large vegetable garden and many flower gardens.

Barb had a natural talent for art and woodworking. Her cabin and outdoor scenes were painted on various types of saws and are hanging in homes and cabins throughout Wisconsin, Michigan, and Minnesota.
Barb was a member of SS Mary & Hyacinth Catholic Parish.

Survivors include her husband, Bill, and her beloved pet, Bear. She is also survived by her twin sister, Beth (Walt) Pechman of Antigo; sister-in-law, Lorraine Wilson of Argonne; brothers and sisters-in-law, Dick and Val Wilson of Argonne, Roger and Karen Wilson of Crandon, and Mike and Jane Wilson of Argonne. Barb is also survived by many nieces and nephews. She loved them all dearly as they loved her.

Barb was preceded in death by her parents, Stanley and Betty Anderson; her father and mother-in-law, William and Delores Wilson; Bill's step-father, Louis Geske; brother-in-law, James Wilson, and nephew, Matthew Lee Wilson.
Due to Covid concerns, a private family funeral Mass will take place.

Burial will be at Lakeside Cemetery in Crandon. Barbara's funeral Mass can be viewed on the Bradley Funeral Home Facebook Page on Saturday, January 16 beginning at 12:30 p.m. https://www.facebook.com/bradleyfh/
