Doris E. Scheffert, 98, of Marshalltown, IA passed away January 13, 2021 at The Iowa River Hospice Home in Marshalltown. Private family services will be held at a later date. Doris Elva Switzer was born December 16, 1922 to parents Charles H. and B. Mabel (Cornelius) Switzer. She was united in marriage Dec 6, 1940 to William E. Scheffert. They raised four children during their 74 years of marriage. Husband Bill passed away in 2015.

Doris is survived by her four children, William C (Pamela) Scheffert, Nancy (Gary) Scott, Laura Clark, Paul (Kathy) Scheffert; 13 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren. In death she has joined her parents Charles and Mabel, husband William E., son-in-law Dallas Clark; sisters Rosemary and Wilma; and one brother, Howard.
