Mabel Range WEST LIBERTY, Iowa #45;- Mabel N. Range, 97, died Thursday Oct.19, at the Simpson Memorial Home in West Liberty following an extended illness. Family graveside services will be held Saturday at the Oak Ridge Cemetery, West Liberty. The Barker Funeral Home in West Liberty is in charge of arrangements. She was born June 2, 1903, in Lone Tree, the daughter of Fred T. and Nona Leonard Miller. She was married to Adolph Range he died in 1990. She had worked for Economy Advertising in Iowa City and Paris Cleaners in West Liberty. In the 1950's Adolph and Mabel moved to Grants Pass, Ore. until 1977, then returned to West Liberty. She was a member of the West Liberty United Methodist Church, Survivors include a nephew, Fred Miller of Atalissa; two nieces, Shirley Heick of West Liberty and Katherine Hart of Davenport. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Adolph; an infant son; a brother, Adna Miller; sisters, Lois Herring and Myrna Shockey.
