James Glenn Arnold Jr.
February 12, 1944 - January 7, 2021

James Glenn Arnold Jr. (Jim) passed away at home on January 7, 2021 from cancer.
Jim was born February 12, 1944 to Glenn and Pearl Arnold in Covington KY. Jim graduated from Holmes High School, Covington Ky in June of 1962.
April 1964 Jim enlisted in the Air Force and upon completion of basic training, he was assigned to the 92nd Security Forces at Fairchild AFB near Spokane, WA.
In April 1968, upon completion of Active Duty, he was employed with the Washington State Patrol and assigned duties as a radio operator at the Spokane District Office. In February 1969 he was accepted into the State Patrol Academy in Shelton, WA. and on May 12, 1969 graduated with the 44th Basic Training Class and assigned to Walla Walla, WA. In May of 1971 he transferred to Interstate 5 in South King County. The rest of his 31 years was spent working I-5. He retired from the Washington State Patrol April 15th 1999.
Jim joined the Air National Guard 141st Security Air Forces, September 1979 and retired May 1995 rank of MSGT (E7) after 21 years of service.
Jim is survived by his wife Beverly of Federal Way WA, son Brian and grandson Jaxson of Tacoma WA. He is also survived by a brother Bill Arnold (Peggy) of Hebron Ky, sister-in-law Pauline Krauter of Sunnyside WA, and several nephews and a niece. Jim is preceded in death by his parents and a daughter Donna.
At Jim's request, no funeral service will be held.
