March 28, 1960 - January 16, 2021

Janice (Taggart Zima) Below, of Antigo, died Saturday, January 16, 2021, at her home. She was 60 years old. She was born on March 28, 1960, in Antigo, a daughter of Delores (Stone) Wimmer of Merrill and the late Raymond Taggart. She married Thomas Below on September 20, 2001, in Antigo.

She attended Antigo High School and received her Associate's Degree in Nursing from Nicolet Technical College in Rhinelander.

Janice was a registered nurse at Langlade Memorial Hospital in Antigo and Prevea Hospital in Green Bay.

She enjoyed watching the Green Bay Packers, fishing, and the companionship of her three dogs, Buster, Sasha, and Princess.

Survivors include her husband, Tom; mother, Delores; a daughter, Angela Zima of Wausau; a son, Jesse Zima of Wausau; grandchildren; a sister, Barbara Bessert of Antigo; two brothers, Donald (Sue) Taggart of Appleton and Timothy Taggart of Merrill; and a brother-in-law, John Hoecherl of Antigo.

She was preceded in death by her father, Raymond; a daughter, Samantha Zima; a son in infancy, Dakota Below; and two sisters, Debra Hoecherl and Sandra Anderson.

Visitation will be Friday, January 22 from 1 to 3 p.m. at the Bradley Funeral Home.

A celebration of life will take place at a later date.
