Julian Schneider passed away on Sunday, January 10, 2021, at the age of 88. Julian was born in Cleveland, Ohio, in 1932, to Edward and Sylvia Schneider.
Julian was married to Kay in December of 1961, after meeting at a dance at the Jewish Community Center, earlier that same year. He graduated from Miami University, in Oxford, Ohio, with a degree in Economics and received his MBA from Case Western Reserve, and held a CPA certificate. The family moved to Houston in 1980, where they became members of Brith Shalom.
Julie, as he was known to those close to him, was passionate about his health, cars, and all things finance and economics, however, his family always came first. His sense of humor, and the insights he loved to share, will be missed by his family and friends.
Julian is survived by Kay, his wife of 59 years; his daughters, Amy Schneider and Beth (Clayton) Dreyer; his grandchildren, Sam, Barry and Seth Goodman and Ethan and Melissa Dreyer. He was also an uncle and surrogate father and grandfather to many.
A private graveside service was held at Beth Yeshurun Post Oak.
