In loving memory of

Joey Lindberg

Joey was adopted October 1, 2011 from the Hastings Animal ark. He charmed us with his demeanor and his habit of head butting everything. He and Leo got along for exactly 48 hours. I wouldn't say they were bitter enemies, but they were not friends. However, they did spend time in the sun beams together.

Joey was pretty independent. He rarely sat on anyone's lap and if he did, it was Andy's.

We were allowed to pet Joey on his head for about 20 seconds at a time and then he would let you know that "He was good".

Joey's happiest place was guarding the Christmas tree. He loved sitting under it all season.

This week we could tell the end was coming sooner than later. His appetite had decreased and if you ever heard Joey at meal time... This was a big change.

The hardest part is being a pet owner is knowing when you let them go. Today was Joey's day to Cross the rainbow bridge and see Buddy, Butch and Nick.

Thank you Joey for being a great cat.
