Ann Kegler
September 5, 1962 - January 23, 2021

Ann Kegler, of Antigo, died Saturday, January 23, 2021, at home surrounded by her family after a courageous battle with cancer. She was 58 years old. She was born on September 5, 1962, in Medford, a daughter of the late Robert Spanbauer and Ardis (Gebert) Spanbauer of Antigo. She married Karl Kegler on July 19, 1986, at St. John Catholic Church. He survives.

She attended St. John Parochial School and graduated from Antigo High School with the class of 1980.

As a young lady she worked in the offices at Pepsi-Cola and McCormick Klessig Insurance, both of Antigo. For 25 years Ann was a dedicated employee at the Aspirus General Clinic in Antigo where she served as a receptionist.

She raised her daughters in Antigo and they were her pride and joy. Spending time with family was a priority for Ann. She loved hosting family gatherings, enjoyed bike rides, playing cards, craft fairs, and fishing.

Survivors including her husband and mother are two daughters, Shannon (Justin) Young, Denmark, Jenna Kegler and fiancée Brad Zellner, Luxemburg; a sister, Barbara (Fred) Flynn, Sun Prairie; four brothers, Richard (Laurie) Spanbauer, Medford, Michael (Cathy) Spanbauer, Green Bay, Joseph Spanbauer and Susan, Kenosha, Scott (Penny) Spanbauer, Grand Rapids, Michigan.

She was preceded in death by her father, two brothers, Robert Jr., and James Spanbauer.

The funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday, January 28, 2021, at 11 a.m.at St John Catholic Church with Rev. Charles Hoffmann, officiating. Burial will take place in Queen of Peace Cemetery.

Visitation will be 3:30 to 7 p.m. on Wednesday at the Bradley Funeral Home and 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. on Thursday at the funeral home. A parish wake service will be held at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday also at the funeral home. The funeral Mass will be lived streamed at Antigo Area Catholic Churches you tube page.
