Rose Snyder MUSCATINE, Iowa #45;- Rose Ann Nesbit Snyder, 49, of Muscatine, died Saturday, Jan. 20, 2001, at Unity Hospital in Muscatine. Services will be 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Geo. M. Wittich-Lewis Funeral Home in Muscatine. The Rev. Sharon Phillips will officiate. Pallbearers will be Art Johnson Jr., Kevin Young, Bobby Burke, Tim Peterson, Jeff Peterson, James Peterson, Billy Peterson, Billy Nesbit. Honorary pallbearers will be Marvin Crabtree, Leslie Nesbit, Eddie Nesbit and Roy Nesbit. Burial will be at the Greenwood Cemetery in Muscatine. A luncheon will be held at the Jesus Mission Church in Muscatine, following services. Visitation will be from 2-8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the Rose Snyder Memorial Fund. Mrs. Snyder was born Feb. 25, 1951, in Muscatine, the daughter of Charles and Hazel Crabtree Nesbit. She was a homecare provider for the elderly and worked for the Muscatine Community Schools as an aide for the teachers. She was a member of the Jesus Mission Church in Muscatine. She dearly loved her family and friends. Nobody was a stranger and she loved and cared for each and everyone she met. Survivors include her husband, Jerry Gibson of Muscatine; one son, Daryle Snyder Jr. of Muscatine; one daughter, Angel Gibson of Muscatine; three grandchildren, Tosha, David and Christopher; four brothers, Marvin Crabtree, Leslie Nesbit, Eddie Nesbit, and Roy Nesbit, all of Muscatine; three sisters, Pansy Hays, Mrs. Thelma Peterson and Lilly Johnson, all of Muscatine; and dedicated friends, Connie Estabrook and Jayme Bramble. She was preceded in death by her parents; stepfather, Edward Logel; one son, Craig Allen Snyder; three brothers, LaVern, Cecil and Charles; and two sisters, Eva and Charlene.
