"My Aunt Pat was such a wonderful person. Although the Sawyer family never was or is a CLOSE family, i have many fond memories of her. She never judged me, like others had, and even after all the mistakes i made in my life, she was always there for me. Her smile always brightened me up and i miss her. I always looked forward to her visits back to Glens Falls and sometimes wished she never left so i could have been closer to her."

"The first time I met your mom David took me to ya'lls house.. Late at night.. She had on a night gown and her hair in curlers. She was so mad at him Scolded him and said he could have at least called and given her a warning we were coming over. Your mom treated me like family the first moment I met her.. She was more of a sister than sister in law.. We had so much fun on our shopping excursions and dinners out.. We always made time for our restraurant visits.. We would try and remember where we went the last time and could not so we went to the same place a lot.. Applebees. BJ Tavern and Dennys.. We did not care We just had fun being together. MOM LOVED it when Pat would stay with her while David and I went out of town.. They would order pizza dessert and watch soap operas.. They discussed how messed up those people where.. Not sure what that said about them because they watch them. I loved your mother more than I can say.. I miss her.. She was an amazing woman.. Survived living with all her brothers.. That shows how strong she was.. Cathy Sawyer"

"A memory that brings a smile to my face is the UNO Attack game Josh gave Nana. One of the last times she was able to play she must have had 60 cards in her hand and the dang machine was throwing the cards so fast it was hitting her in the head when she pressed the button. She thought she had won, somehow had gotten rid of all those cards, and the last card was a trade hands. She threw the card down (and uttered a couple cuss words - we had been playing for 45mins to an hour this one game) when she found out when she traded someone else would win. She never cursed and to see her body language, that facial expression, and then to hear her say that we all burst out laughing. She would give THAT look when she had to draw 2 or press until you received cards or skipped. Miss those game days!"
