Mary Williams TIPTON, Iowa - Mary Agnes Williams, 66, of Tipton, died Thursday, Feb. 22, 2001, at her home after an extended illness. Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday at Fry Funeral Home in Tipton. The Rev. Richard Smith will officiate. The body will be cremated following services. Visitation will be from 4-7 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Mrs. Williams was born March 9, 1934, in Grangemouth, Scotland. She married Marvin Larmar Williams Dec. 30, 1978, in Cedar Rapids. She worked at Snyder Drug in Tipton for 10 years. She received her education from Grangemouth Scotland Schools and Margate, England. She was a member of the Tipton Bible Church. Survivors include her husband, Marvin Williams of Tipton; two daughters, Virginia Patao of Maui, Hawaii and Sue Thomas of San Francisco, Calif.; a son, David Thomas of Cedar Rapids; four stepsons, Mike Williams of Dike, Chuck Williams of Tipton, Mark Williams of Houston, Texas, Craig Williams of Wilton; and a brother, John Hewitt of Margate, England. She was preceded in death by her parents.
