Laura Shultz TIPTON, Iowa #45;- Laura 'Lori' Loretta Shultz, 69, of Tipton died Tuesday, June 4, 2001, in Mount Vernon from complications of cancer. Services are 10:30 a.m. Thursday at the Fry Funeral Home in Tipton. Graveside services are 11 a.m. Thursday at the Masonic Cemetery in Tipton. The Rev. Richard Smith and Willis Wulf will officiate. Pallbearers are Douglas Behrle, Tony Shultz, Scott Shultz, Glenn Winekauf, Damian Cummins and Jeffery Murphy. Visitation is 9:30-10:30 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Mrs. Shultz was born July 2, 1931, in Cedar County, the daughter of Floyd and Verna Wagner Winekauf. She married David Eugene Shultz May 22, 1949, in Bennett. He preceded her in death Jan. 22, 1998. She attended Tipton Community Schools. She was of the Protestant faith and a housewife. Survivors include a daughter, Cheryl Behrle and her husband, Dewey, of Tipton; a son, Dennis Shultz and his wife, Connie, of Mount Vernon; two sisters, Rose Waltz of Tipton and Mary Wilson of Delhi; eight grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and a daughter-in-law, Susan Shultz of Cedar Rapids. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; a son, David Lee Shultz, May 14, 1997; a brother, Charles Winekauf; and an infant sister, Alberta Winekauf.
