PATSY FUSON LETTS, Iowa - Patsy Jean Fuson, 61, of 1359 260th St, Letts, died Thursday, June 14, 2001, at the Great River Medical Center in West Burlington. Services will be 2:00 p.m. Wednesday at the Ralph J. Wittich-Riley-Freers Funeral Home. Lloyd Mansfield will officiate. Pallbearers will be Rick Richardson, Jon Richardson, Matthew Foster, Samuel Foster, Rob Strong, and Dwight Cocklin. Burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be from 1 to 2 p.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the VanMieghem Fuson Benefit Fund in care of Central State Bank. Mrs. Fuson was born on March 11, 1940, in Muscatine, the daughter of Harry J. and Jeannie L. Phillips Richardson. She married Robert Fuson on Oct. 4, 1969, in Muscatine. She loved hunting for mushrooms, sewing, crafting and gardening. She loved genealogy and her granddaughter. She worked at Muscatine General Hospital as an aide for several years in the surgery and nursery departments. Survivors include her husband, Robert Fuson of Letts; two daughters, Lora VanMieghem and Anne Fuson, both of Letts; one granddaughter, Elizabeth Jean; two brothers, Thomas Earl Richardson and his wife, Wilma, of Farmhamville, and Robert Eugene Richardson and his wife, Carol, of Lagootee, Indiana; and one sister, Beth Eileen Foster and her husband, Joe, of Letts. She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Barbara Anne in infancy.
