Ina Erwin WASHINGTON, Iowa #45;- Ina Erwin, 87, of Washington, formerly of West Liberty, died Sunday, Jan. 27, 2002, at the United Presbyterian Home, Washington, following an extended illness. Services are 11 a.m. Tuesday at the West Liberty United Methodist Church. The Rev. Jeanne Koughn will officiate. Burial will be at North Prairie Cemetery, West Liberty. Visitation is 5-8 p.m. today at Barker Funeral Home, West Liberty. Memorials may be made to United Presbyterian Home, North Prairie Social Club or Lotus Chapter No. 320 Order of Eastern Star. Mrs. Erwin was born on Nov. 21, 1914, in West Liberty, the daughter of George and Laura Mae Inghram Askam. She married Donald Erwin on Nov. 5, 1939, in Nashua. He preceded her in death in 1997. She was a member of the West Liberty United Methodist Church, North Prairie Social Club and a 55-year member of the Order of Eastern Star. Survivors include a daughter, Nancy Hudson and her husband, Dan, of Iowa City; a son, Don Erwin and his wife, Lyla, of Washington; eight grandchildren, Michelle Harney and her husband, Rick, Bill Hudson and his wife, Diane, Tony Hudson and his wife, Tina, Eric Erwin, Erin Erwin, Tanner Erwin, Adam Erwin and Lauren Erwin; and three great-grandchildren, Tim, Tom and Ryan Harney. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; a brother, Inghram Askam; and a sister, Evelyn Meyers.
