Stella Woltmann MARION, Iowa #45;- Stella Woltmann, 95, Crestview Acres, Marion, died Wednesday, March 13, 2002. Services are 10 a.m. Monday at Turner Chapel West, Cedar Rapids. The Rev. Jim Trosen will officiate. Burial will be 2 p.m. Monday at Memory Gardens Cemetery, Iowa City. Visitation is 2-4 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Mrs. Woltmann was born on May 29, 1906, in Soldier, Ky., the daughter of John H. and Mary E. Caudill Kinser. She married Alfred Woltmann on Dec. 24, 1924, in Walnut. He preceded her in death in 1968. She was a member of the Presbyterian Church. She enjoyed her family and friends and loved to cook and bake for them. She also enjoyed gardening. She resided in Muscatine for 15 years and Iowa City for 40 years. Survivors include a daughter, Shirley Ales and her husband, Dan, of Cedar Rapids; three granddaughters, Sheryl Walker and her husband, Robert, of Minnetouka, Minn., Sue Clow and her husband, Joseph, of Fond du Lac, Wis., and Sharon Langenberg and her husband, David, of Cedar Rapids; a grandson, Paul Ales and his wife, Tammy, of Muscatine; eight great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; a son, Donald Lee Woltmann; a brother, Isaac Bert Kinser; a sister, Cloa M. Fries and five half-brothers.
