Donald Dill WILTON, Iowa #45;- Donald E. Dill, 66, Wilton, died Thursday, May 2, 2002, at Unity Hospital, Muscatine. Services were 10 a.m. today at Bentley Funeral Home, Wilton. The Rev. James Cooney officiated. Visitation was 3-6 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. A memorial has been established. Mr. Dill was born July 20, 1935, in Hannibal, Mo., the son of Jesse and Melinda Hashcher Dill. He married Dorothy L. DeRosear Sept. 6, 1968, in Nashville, Tenn. He served in the U.S. Navy, 1952-1961, during the Korean Conflict. He worked in concrete construction for Lawrence Bogue, Cedar Rapids, for 12 years. He later worked at Wilton Precision Steel, Contractors, Steel and Steel Processing, Wilton. After retirement he worked for FBG, Omaha, Neb., at the I-80 Welcome Center, Wilton. Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Debbie of Smalley, Ariz.; two sons, Jeff Dill and Ricky Dill, both of Hot Springs, Ariz.; two stepdaughters, Mary Bollinger of Wilton and Debbie Cavett of Centralia, Ill.; three stepsons, Charles Leaton of Kolona, Ronald Leaton of Wilton and Harold King of Burlington; a sister, Mary Smith of Georgia; two brothers, Robert Dill of Illinois and Dale Dill of Texas; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; a daughter, Linda Dill; a sister, Betty Hamilton; two brothers, Jerry Dill and Jimmy Dill; and a grandson, Michael Bollinger.
