Ruth Spratt MUSCATINE, Iowa #45;- Ruth E. Spratt, 95, Muscatine, died Saturday, May 11, 2002, at Riverbend Nursing and Rehabilitation. Services are 10:30 a.m. Thursday at the Ralph J. Wittich-Riley-Freers Funeral Home. The Rev. Dave Owen will officiate. Pallbearers are Richard Jones, Norman Bunn, Steve Borchert, Tom Riley, Harley Spratt and Hubert Spratt. Burial will be at Greenwood Cemetery. Visitation is 5-7 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society. Mrs. Spratt was born April 7, 1907, in Philadelphia, Mo., the daughter of John and Hattie White Shull. She married A.W. 'Jack' Spratt, Jan. 21, 1923, in Moberly, Mo. He preceded in death in 1994. She worked with her husband at Spratt Oil Co. She was a member of Wesley United Methodist Church and a former member of the Lady Elks and the Daughters of the American Revolution. Survivors include a daughter, Audrey McCullough of Muscatine; three grandchildren, Carol Riley of Raleigh, N.C., Susan Jones and Rod McCullough, both of Muscatine; five great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, a daughter, Dorothy Bunn, two brothers, and five sisters.
