Roy Hansen MUSCATINE, Iowa #45;- Roy Kenneth Hansen, 68, 910 Sunrise Circle, Muscatine, died Monday, Oct. 14, 2002, at Unity Hospital. Services are 10:30 a.m. Thursday at the Geo. M. Wittich-Lewis Funeral Home. The Rev. Leif Pohl will officiate. Burial will be at Muscatine Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation is 4-7 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. A memorial has been established at the funeral home. Mr. Hansen was born Oct. 24, 1933, in Chicago, Ill., the son of Fred and Esther Peterson Hansen. He married Barbara Ann Jaenel Feb. 28, 1958, in Chicago. He graduated from Elmhurst College, Elmhurst, Ill. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army, serving from 1955-57. In his younger years, he enjoyed the outdoors while hunting, fishing, boating and golfing. He continued perfecting his golf game during the past years and also enjoyed time with his grandchildren. He was employed at BT Primemover from 1973 until retiring in 1991. Survivors include his wife; three daughters, Debra J. Foster and her husband, John, Dee M. Harding and her husband, Steve, and Tracy Schroeder and her husband, Douglas, all of Muscatine; six grandchildren, Dana and Andrea Foster, Casey and Michelle Harding and Elias and Emily Schroeder; a sister, Jean Samp of Arlington Heights, Ill; nieces and nephews, Carol Martin, Steven Samp, Karen Sulzburger, Sharon Canas, Tami Jaenel and Janell O'Brien; sisters- and brothers-in-law, Gary Koziol, Jim and Sharon Jaenel, Lois and Tom O'Brien. He was preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Judith Hansen; and a sister-in-law, Jan Koziol.
