"Skip, John, Barbara and family: What a proud, loving, independent woman. As I think of "Grandma Gracie" and her beloved "Twinkie", I have many fond memories of days gone by. Grace truly did make this world a better place. I know this is a time of sadness for her family, but she has returned to be with her Heavenly Father as her earthly misson has been accomplished. Treasure your memories; hold her close in your hearts. You are in my thoughts and prayers. Fondly, Joney"

"Grace Meerdink was my Grandma. She was a fantastic woman. I always remember that she had a drawer full of Oreo cookies, ChopSuy on the table and a big smile ready for us when we visited. My children may not know her face to face but they will know all about her; her strong will, tenatious spirit and unflinching values. I know that she has gone to be with Heavenly Father and is happy to be reunited with other loved ones. We will miss her very much. I love you Grandma! love, Kimberly"

"As my sister Kimberly said- memories of Grandma Gracie are filled with the Oreo drawer, Chop Suey, chicken fingers, her dog Twinkie, giving her "sugar" and being her "Little Boy Blue". I know that she is in so happy a place and that she has left such a great legacy for her posterity and all those who knew her. I love you Grandma and will happily see you again... Love, Carey"
