E. Luther Davis COLUMBUS JUNCTION, Iowa #45;- Evan Luther Davis, 95, Columbus Junction, died Tuesday, Jan. 7, 2003, at the Sunrise Terrace Care Center, Winfield. Services are 1 p.m. Saturday at the Stacy-Lewis Funeral Home, Columbus Junction. The Rev. Linda Baldwin will officiate. Burial will be at the Cambrian Cemetery. Visitation is 4-7 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. A memorial has been established for the Columbus Junction United Presbyterian Church. Mr. Davis was born on Nov. 20, 1907, in Wyman, the son of Sem and Mary Evans Davis. He married Margaret Owens on Jan. 25, 1933, in Cotter. He farmed all of his life, retiring in 1971. He was a student of scripture. He loved music and his family. Survivors include a son, Dale Davis of Tucson, Ariz.; two daughters, Donna Williams and her husband, Don, of Conesville and Roberta Virden and her husband, Kurt, of Ormond Beach, Fla.; eight grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, a grandson, Rick and three brothers.
