Janet Gundrum MUSCATINE, Iowa - Janet V. Gundrum, 60, Muscatine, died Wednesday, Feb. 5, 2003, at Unity Hospital. Services are 1:30 p.m. Friday at the Ralph J. Wittich-Riley-Freers Funeral Home. The Rev. John P. Gallagher will officiate. Burial will be at Memorial Park Cemetery at a later date. Visitation is 4-7 p.m. today at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the Janet Gundrum memorial fund. Mrs. Gundrum was born March 19, 1942, in Millersville, Ill., the daughter of Harold and Velma Baughman Fesser. She married Neal W. Gundrum Sr. in July 1972, in Muscatine. She and her husband lived in Grandview until moving to Muscatine in 2000. She was an animal lover. She loved her pets, especially her horses. She collected antiques and enjoyed selling items at flea markets. Survivors include her husband; two stepsons, Richard J. Gundrum and Neal W. Gundrum Jr., both of Davenport; four stepdaughters, Robin Crawford and husband Gary of Illinois City, Ill., Debbie Derby and Peggy Pike, both of Davenport, and Crystal Schocker and husband William of Clinton; 13 stepgrandchildren; 13 stepgreat-grandchildren; a sister, Nina Elvers and husband Stanley of Pana, Ill.; two sisters-in-law, Carol Gundrum and Helen Snyder, both of Muscatine; one sister-in-law, Lucille Gundrum, of Muscatine; one brother-in-law, Larry L. Gundrum and wife Leona of Muscatine. She was preceded in death by her parents.
