Rita Monteferrante (nee Borgesi), on January 27, 2021, of South Philadelphia, PA. Age 90.
Beloved wife of the late Ralph for more than 50 years. Devoted mother of Theresa Hughes (Wayne), Maria Wright (Walter), Angel Mallett (Thomas), Thomas Monteferrante (Jennifer), and the late Ralph Jr. Loving grandmother of Christina Orsino (Michael), Jaclyn Hughes (Bill), Tina Quinn (Thomas), Dana Ragni (Frank), Walter Wright Jr. (Patti), Thomas Mallet Jr., Nina Cross (Edward), Amanda Monteferrante, Alysha Monteferrante (Matt), Nicholas Monteferrante, Destiny Monteferrante, Thomas Monteferrante Jr., Joseph Monteferrante, and Rocco Monteferrante and great grandmother of Gabriella & Adrianna Orsino, Aubree Nordaby, Nicholas Bridge, Jason Smith, Tori & Tommy Quinn, Cristo Ragni, Chase & Cruise Wright, Bella and Edward Cross, Layla Isles, Giovanni Thomas, Ralphie & Nicholas Monteferrante, and Milania Del Valle. Dear sister of Marie Massoro and preceded in death by 9 siblings. Also survived by dear sister-in-law Yolanda Borgesi
Rita loved visiting the casino, playing BINGO and cards, her paisano wine, and cooking. Family was most important thing to her and she always wanted everyone together.
There will be a viewing from 9am to 11am Saturday, January 30th at GARDNER FUNERAL HOME, RUNNEMEDE. Funeral service 11am at the funeral home. Interment is private at the request of the family.
