James "Jimmy" Francis Shea, husband, father, Papa, and friend passed away on Thursday, January 28, 2021 at Baylor Heart Hospital in Plano, Texas. Jimmy was born May 13, 1933 in Springfield, Massachusetts where he lived until serving in the United States Air Force. One of his great accomplishments in the Air Force was serving the General whom he accompanied on a trip around the world. He met the love of his life, Marcelle, while stationed in Casablanca, Morocco. It was there that he found his Jewish faith and began practicing Judaism. While serving in the Air Force his family was stationed in Columbus, Ohio, Oscoda, Michigan and Frankfurt, Germany. Once Jimmy retired from the Air Force him and his family moved to Richardson, Texas where he spent the rest of his life. The three things he was most proud of in his life was his faith, his wife and his children. He is loved by everyone who knew him and he will be greatly missed by all.
Jimmy is survived by his adoring wife of 65 years Marcelle Shea, their four sons: David Shea (Corinne), Nathan Shea (Bonnie), Michael Shea (Woodie) and Jeffrey Shea (Susan), ten grandchildren: Jeremy Shea (Sandy), Caycee Holt (Hunter), Erica Shea, Allie Hickey (Payton), Tatum Shea, Sydney Shea, McKenzie Shea, Morgan Shea, Landon Shea and Kyle Shea and four great grandsons: Casher Holt, Benson Hickey, Mack Hickey and Heath Holt.
