Ryan Bradley WILTON, Iowa #45;- Ryan Patrick Bradley, 21, Wilton, died Friday, May 2, 2003, in Muscatine County near Atalissa due to an auto accident that also claimed the life of his girlfriend, Melinda Maas of West Liberty. Services are 11 a.m. Wednesday at Zion Lutheran Church, Wilton. The Rev. Wayne Fredericksen will officiate. Musical selections will be provided by organist, James Batchelor and vocalists, Eva Belitz, Buck Wacker and Christine Fread. Pallbearers are Erik Fitzer, Tommy Fitzer, Brad Jordan, Mike Matthews, Brandon Williams and Derek Sawvell. Honorary pallbearers are all of his friends. Burial will be at Oakdale Cemetery, Wilton. Visitations are 4-8 p.m. Tuesday at Bentley Funeral Home, Wilton, and one hour prior to services Wednesday at the church. Memorials may be made to the Wilton First Responders and to the Wilton Fire Department. He was born Jan. 3, 1982, in Iowa City, the son of Omar S. P. and Sue Sawvell Bradley. He was employed Stutsman Inc. in Hills. He was a member of FFA. He loved snowmobiling, stockcar races and country music. He was a cowboy of all trades who loved farming, boating, his family and life. Survivors include his parents, Sue and Omar Bradley of Wilton; three sisters, Kris Bradley and Mike Matthews of Minneapolis, Minn., Nichole Jordan and her husband, Brad, of Winterset and Amber Bradley and her fiance, Brandon Williams of Iowa City; two grandmothers, Geneva Sawvell of Wilton and Elizabeth 'Kay' Chrysler and her husband, Fred, of Sharon, Conn.; many aunts, uncles and cousins; and two very special friends, Erik and Tommy Fitzer of Wilton. He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Edward Sawvell Sr. and Raymond Bradley.
