Kenneth Horton Jr. TIPTON, Iowa #45;- Kenneth Lee Horton Jr., 39, of 200 Walnut St., Tipton, died Saturday, May 31, 2003, at Mercy Hospital, Cedar Rapids, from injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident. Services are 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the Fry Funeral Home, Tipton. The Rev. Richard Smith will officiate. Musical selections will be provided by Sarah Crock, vocalist, and Rick and Aline Achenbach, vocalists. Burial will be at Tipton Masonic Cemetery, Tipton. Visitation is 5-8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. A memorial fund has been established for the future education of his daughters. Mr. Horton was born Sept. 23, 1963, in Rock Island, Ill., the son of Kenneth Lee Horton Sr. and Evelyn Iona Romine Horton. He married Teresa Dawn Looker July 25, 1987, in Cedar County. He attended school in Rock Island and Bennett and graduated from Tipton High School in 1981. He was a member of Tipton Bible Church and Sons of the American Legion. He was a truck driver for ADM in Cedar Rapids and was previously employed by Expac and L.L. Pelling. Survivors include his parents, Ken and Evelyn Horton of Milan, Ill.; his wife; three daughters, Regina, Sarah and Allison; and a brother, Charles 'Chuck' Horton of Milan. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, John and Leona Romine and Eva and William Horton.
