Helen Enderle WEST LIBERTY, Iowa à Helen M. Enderle, 81, died Wednesday, Nov. 26, 2003 at the Simpson Memorial Home in West Liberty. Funeral services are 10 a.m. Saturday Nov. 29 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in West Liberty. The Rev. Dennis Martin will officiate. Burial will be in the Mt. Calvary Cemetery, West Liberty. Visitation is 4-8 p.m. at the Barker Funeral Home in West Liberty. A Christian wake service will be held at 7:30 p.m. A memorial fund has been established. Mrs. Enderle was born Jan. 16, 1922 in West Union, the daughter of Frank C. and Edna Irwin Robinson. She married Andrew J. Enderle in Kahoka, Mo. Nov. 14, 1942. She was a 1939 graduate of West Liberty High School. She worked at Owens Brush in Iowa City and as an editor at NCS in Iowa City. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and the Altar and Rosary Society. She was a member of the West Liberty Country Club and bowled for the Wuestenberg Bowling team for many years. Survivors include three daughters: Anita and Tucker Slade of Iowa City; Karen and George Marple of Iowa City, and Terry and Jim Ozello of Iowa City; two sons: David and Sandra Enderle of West Liberty and Steven and Dianne Enderle of Apopka, Fla.; nine grandchildren and seven great grandchildren; one sister: Ferne Sullivan of West Liberty. She was preceded in death by her husband in 1970, her parents and a sister, Gladys.
