Metha Adams DAVENPORT, Iowa #45;- Metha Magdelena Frey Adams, 83, Davenport, formerly of Tipton, died Friday, March 26, 2004, at Fejervart Health Care Center, Davenport, after an extended illness. Services are 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, March 31, at Fry Funeral Home, Tipton. The Rev. Donnita Moeller will officiate. Burial will be at Tipton Masonic Cemetery, Tipton. Visitation is 4-7 p.m. Tuesday, March 30, at the funeral home. A memorial has been established. Mrs. Adams was born Jan. 16, 1921, in Strutton, Denmark, the daughter of John and Julianna Josef Falk Baguss. She married Wilhelm Frey Aug. 19, 1939, in Stanwood. He preceded her in death. She later married Victor Adams. She was a homemaker. She attended Tipton High School. Survivors include three daughters, Julia Frey Proctor and husband, Harold, of Moscow, Donna Spalding of Winona, Minn., and Sally Kay Bean and husband, Terry, of Cedar Rapids; two sons, John Henry Frey and wife, Marilyn, of Madison, Wis., and Carlton P. Frey of Tipton; a brother, John Baguss and wife, Rose, of Sand Lake, Mich.; 12 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and a daughter-in-law, Melanie Frey of Tipton. She was preceded in death by her husband, Wilhelm Frey; two sons, Robert Adams and James L. Frey; a daughter, Betty Jane Frey; two brothers, Christian 'Oscar' Baguss and Gerhardt Baguss; a grandson, Jamey Frey; a granddaughter, Shelly Spalding; and a sister, Eva Stauffer.
