Fern Jones CORALVILLE, Iowa #45;- Fern Jones, 95, formerly of Muscatine, died Saturday, April 10, 2004, at Lantern Park Nursing Home, Coralville. Graveside services were 11 a.m., April 12, 2004, at Greenwood Cemetery. The Rev. Paul Ostrem officiated. Visitation was 10-10:45 a.m., April 12, 2004, at the Ralph J. Wittich-Riley-Freers Funeral Home, 1931 Houser St, Muscatine. Memorials may be made to the Iowa City Hospice. Mrs. Jones was born Sept. 27, 1908, in Muscatine, the daughter of John and Ida Schroeder Kindler. She married Harry 'Casey' Jones April 8, 1934, in Muscatine. He preceded her in death in 1979. She was a member of the former Church of the Brethren in Muscatine. Survivors include a son, Morgan J. Jones and wife, Linda, of Iowa City; two grandchildren, Hayden Jones and wife, Tonya, of Seattle and Rhys Jones and wife, Brooke, of Los Angeles. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband and two sisters.
