"To Carol Ann's family: my memories of Carol Ann goes WAY back before she was ever a teenager. I was a friend of Don Schmelzer and was introduced to the family when you lived in an apartment on 2nd Street. Watching all of you grow up and going your own way was amazing. I lost track of most of you through the years but reconnected to Carol Ann when she and Bob Miller were married. She always had a sweet smile and a loving hello when I would see her. Again lost track of her through the years when she moved to Texas and again met her at Lutheran Homes when I was there to visit another patient. I am sorry to learn of her passing but know that my thoughts and prayers are with all of you at this time. I know she is happy to be reunited with Bob and may she Rest In Peace."
