In loving memory of

Elizabeth M. Crockett
November 3, 1942 - January 28, 2021

Elizabeth "Beth" M. Crockett, 78, of Schwenksville and formerly of Blue Bell, passed away Thursday, January 28, 2021, at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania, after a courageous battle with cancer.

She is the loving wife of John D. Crockett, her husband of 30 years. She was preceded in death by her first husband, George J. Fresolone (1979).

Born on November 3, 1942, in Drexel Hill, PA, she was the daughter of the late James J. Manion and Gertrude K. (nee Trainer) Manion, beloved mother of George (Kellie) Fresolone of Wilmington DE, Catherine (Gregory) Marinucci of Ambler, Elizabeth (Matthew) Tornetta of Norristown, and Cynthia (Stephen) Szakal of Norristown; and loving grandmother of Rebecca Marinucci, Patrick Fresolone, Aaron Fresolone, Sabrina Marinucci, Owen Fresolone and Jake Tornetta.

Beth was the eldest of 10 siblings, and is survived by Bernadette Uffleman, Katherine (Jack) Stunkard, Tom (the late Janet) Manion, Trudy Manion, Clark (Mary) Manion, Marty (Pam) Manion, Rosemary (Bob) Longley, and Chris (Susan) Manion. She was preceded in death by her brother James Manion, Jr. (survived by her sister in law Maureen).

Beth worked as an Administrative Assistant for over 40 years, where she built many lasting friendships. She enjoyed traveling with her husband John, especially the past several winters to Dunedin, FL. She enjoyed bowling, attending social events with both the neighbors from Blue Bell, and for the past 19 years her neighbors at The Colony of Skippack where she found her niche at bocce ball. Beth was a voracious reader, circulating books amongst family and friends, and her greatest joy was spending time with her grandchildren, watching them grow into young adults and learning about what was next on their horizon.

Relatives and friends may call Friday, February 5, 2021, from 10:30 AM to 12:00 PM at St. Eleanor Catholic Church, 647 Locust St., Collegeville, PA, and to her Funeral Mass at noon with Rev. Alessandro Giardini as Celebrant. Interment will be private. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests remembrances in Beth's name to Acting Without Boundaries, 750 E. Haverford Rd. Bryn Mawr, PA 19010 www.actingwithoutboundaries.org/ or to the Travis Manion Foundation, PO Box 1485, Doylestown, PA 18901 www.travismanion.org

"I was very sorry to hear about the passing of Beth Crockett. I have many fond memories of working with her at ADP just after she married John. She always spoke fondly of her very large family and I learned so much from her in the work space. She was appreciative and frank, always. Many prayers go out to her family at this time of loss, may your memories be of comfort to you all. Fondly, Stephanie Gale"
