Roman L. Fleischman
December 28, 1927 - February 5, 2021

Roman L. Fleischman, of the town of Rolling, died Friday, February 5, 2021, at his home under the care of his family and LeRoyer Hospice. He was 93 years old. He was born on December 28, 1927, in Antigo, a son of George and Celia (Stieber) Fleischman. He married Caroline Guenther on May 19, 1954, at St. Boniface Catholic Church in Aniwa. She preceded him in death on May 5, 2015.

Roman was a lifelong potato and dairy farmer in the town of Rolling.

He enjoyed hunting, farming, woodworking, and listening to classic country music. He played the guitar, violin, accordion, and harmonica. He aslo enjoyed family gatherings.

Survivors include three daughters, Marie (Mark) Marvin, Joann (Daniel) Pomasl, and Cheryl (Rodney) Schedlbauer all of Antigo; three sons, Roman "Romy" Fleischman and special friend Laurie, Thomas Fleischman, and Roger (Jessica) Fleischman all of Antigo;
10 grandchildren, Britney, Kristin, Kevin, Darrin, Courtney, Kayla, Amber, Nick, Collin, and Kyle; 8 great-grandchildren, Logan, Owen, Evin, Jackson, Emmett, Charlie, Kayleigh, and Konnor; a brother, George (RoseMary) Fleischman Jr. of Antigo; and a sister-in-law, Bonnie Fleischman of Antigo.

In addition to his wife, he was preceded in death by three brothers, Jerome, Joseph, and Richard; and sisters-in-law, Luella Adamski and Connie Fleischman.

A funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, February 9, 2021, at 11 a.m. at St. John Catholic Church, Antigo with Rev. Charles Hoffmann officiating. Burial will take place in Queen of Peace Cemetery.

Visitation will be Tuesday, February 9, from 9:30 to 11 a.m. at St. John Catholic Church in Hoffmann Hall.
