Gizmo Skiba

Gizmo(Gizzy) was with us 18.5 years. I heard an animal crying outside and found her underneath a dumpster across the street from where we lived. It took all day but she came out for me.
I'll never forget when she was a kitten she grabbed my mom's filet off her plate and ran away with it we tried taking it away and she sounded like a gremlin hence the name Gizmo. She was loved by all. When someone came over she was the first to greet you and wanted to be petted. Gizmo always begged for fresh meat and of course she got it. When we brought our son home 5 years ago she was the first one in the crib with him, cuddle, and lick him. She cuddled with him always. She has a friend named Buddy who is 7. They were best friends. They played and cuddled. He was even grooming her towards the end. A few years ago we noticed she was getting skinny, we took her in and she was diagnosed with hyperthyroidism.
She had a wonderful life and she will be missed.
