"Jamie was such a spirit, always ready to give you a run for your money. To me she was my big little sister, she was always a little old lady but packed with spunk and sass. In the 20+ years she lived with us, I don?t have many memories growing up without her. She loved coloring, doing puzzles, playing with her ?baby? tommy but above all she loved stealing. ?? yes this little old lady loved anything little that she could snag. Anytime I couldn?t find my chapstick or anything that was basically of no real value... Jamie had it. After about 10 minutes of searching frantically I?d make my way to her bedroom and ask if she had seen it. Of course she would smile real big and bring me to her bed and empty out her suspiciously lumpy pillow case. That?s where she stashed all the random odds and ends she had picked up throughout the day. Sometimes it was annoying but sometimes it was really helpful since I?d misplace little things often and well Jamie stashed them for me ? Now if you can picture this little old lady with a pillow case full of junk every day... you would really get a kick out of her crafty skills coming home from school. My dad would often find stuff in her lunch box that was from classmates and then she turned it up a notch and got extra smart. As soon as she would walk in the door and inspection of lunch box happened... she thought she got by. She thought she was slick ?? Until my dad would tell her to lift her pant legs up and what was there?!? Tons of little odds and ends stashed in her tube socks around her skinny little ankles? Oh Jamie, you kept us all on our toes. You were full of life and even though your body put limits on you, you always had a big huge gummy smile. You always wanted to hold hands and show your pictures every time I came home. You would yell ? kakkkk-keeee? and have the worlds biggest smile. You always had a big huge hug for me and my ?honey?. I am so grateful you let us be your family. We will have a huge hole in the family without you. You taught us so many things, from my mom and dad to us kids and every single member of our huge loud family. We love you & we will meet again, I know you?ll be there with that big smile of yours when that time comes. Until we meet again, fly high dear Jamie. ?"

"The amount of time can never be measured when it comes to a loved one. When loosing A loved one a little piece of you also disappears. Jaimee was and will forever be apart of this family. I grew up with this woman and when finding out in 2019 while i was in Japan that she was in the hospital all i wanted was too make sure she got home safely but sadly she had to go to a nursing home do to circumstances out of our control. Thank fully that nursing home loved her and took amazing care of her. We went up to see her every chance we could even though it was a 2 hour drive but then covid hit. And we no longer were allowed to visit due to guidelines on facilities. So for over a year we put our trust in the people of the nursing home to care for her as best as we would and that?s what they did. On February 5, 2021 Jaimee gained her own angel wings and is now looking over the Hodges family. This is just one of the many guardian angels i have been blessed with. I love you Jaimee."
