Helen Keefe, age 92, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family February 14, 2021.
Helen was born December 13, 1928 in Detroit Michigan to the late Mitre and Helena (Meto) Tolevich.
Helen worked for over 25 years for Warren Woods Schools. Her calling and passion in life was her family. She loved spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
Beloved wife of the late Dan Keefe. Loving mother of Susan (John) Becker, the late Dan Keefe (Karen Mullins), Michael Keefe, and Patricia (Stephen) Garbacik. Cherished grandmother of Christopher (Lauren), Kimberly (Scott), Ryan (Jenn), Derek, Adam, Kristen Garbacik, Kathryn (Matt), David (Gina), Brian, and Colleen. Proud great grandmother of Liam, Addison, Jacob, Katelyn, Lauren and Myron. Dear sister of Mary Smigielski, the late George Tolevich, and the late Jennie Scott.
Visitation will be held on Monday, February 22, 2021 from 12 noon to 4 pm at Chas. Verheyden, Inc - Duross Chapel, 28499 Schoenherr Rd., Warren, MI 48088. Face masks are required and only 25 people are allowed in the building at a time per governor's mandates.
Helen will be laid to rest with her husband, Dan Keefe Jr., at Evergreen Cemetery, in Detroit.
