She was born in Muskegon, MI on March 28, 1929 to Robert & Edith (Chester) Johnson and married Glenn Flintoff on November 8, 1946. She worked at Fisher Steel early on and then did accounting at her and husband's car lot called "Glenn's". Ruth enjoyed dancing, fishing, golfing, making flower arrangements, knitting, crochet, and loved being with people. She was a "fantastic" wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She loved her family and every moment she spent with them. She had a beautiful smile and a laugh that was infectious. She was always there to lend a hand and give advice but only when you asked her. She was loved by so many.
